I took a ride the other day to try out the new ramp into the parking garage at Downtown Disney. Walt Disney World‘s Downtown Disney (signs are starting to reflect Disney Springs) is in the midst of road construction. They shifted the traffic to new outside lanes if you are coming from the WDW resorts. There is a new ramp into the parking garage that will take you to level 3. By the way, I wasn’t driving as I took these pictures. Someone else was doing the driving so I could get the pictures.
Light at Typhoon Lagoon.
This is the I-4 ramp to the right that will eventually connect into the ramp for the parking garage. You will not have to fight traffic on Buena Vista Boulevard once it opens.
Be sure to notice how many parking spots are available as you are going up the ramp. Above each parking spot on level 2-4 you will see a green or red light. This makes it easy to find a parking spot.
The pedestrian bridge is now open if you would like to cross the street by Team Disney. You can’t cross at ground level any longer.
The other parking garage is coming along. In fact, I think it is going up faster than the first one did.
You can see the construction going on near Planet Hollywood. Planet Hollywood will be closing in January to be re-themed. You can always find rehab information for Walt Disney World here.
When you are leaving, just head down the ramp towards the resort and the ramp will bring you back to ground level.
