My, my, how time flies. It feels like just a few months ago, we were excitedly reporting all of the festivities that could be enjoyed at the upcoming 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. All of a sudden, the east-coast-based Disney Resort turned 52 over the weekend, and the celebration wasn’t missing its sense of humor. Our favorite Fab Five Disney friends were celebrating together with a little help from Goofy and his unique cake-baking skills. The short clip below from Facebook shows a throwback to the 25th-anniversary celebration with the famous castle cake!

The video even shows Walt Disney’s original master plan for the park, which is a pretty remarkable sight.
My heart fluttered watching that video. It’s so lovely to see the history of the park celebrated alongside how far it has come.
Now, you know I have to ask this one. If you remember the 25th Anniversary Castle Cake (when Cinderella Castle was transformed into a giant pink cake), I need to know if you remember it fondly or if you prefer to block it out and not remember it at all. What were your thoughts?
