Disney Cruise Line Stateroom Number 8074

Notes The room is very spacious with lots of storage. The only negative was the noise from the hallway. The room is right near the elevators where everyone stands around waiting and talking. We would not stay in a room near the elevators again. Several times we had people standing in front of our door blocking access to the room.

Notes Sailed 1/17/2013. Room was right by midship stairway/elevators - very convenient. Could see the stairs through the peephole. Did not notice much outside noise. Is a connecting room. Faced the port in Nassau and Castaway Cay (ship backed in to both ports). Laundry room located up the hall (aft).

Notes Great location. Close to the amenities of deck 9. pools, cafes, soda machines. Problems with leaking from the plumbing and a horrible smell caused by the wet carpet. Staff were very accomodating and tried to fix the problem but it wasn't resolved in the 7 days of our cruise. Wet sticky feet in the middle of night is not impressive.

Notes Not one bit noisy. Very convenient to stairs. Terrific plexiglass verandah. Sleeps 5, very spacious, and very clean! We've rebooked the same room for our next cruise.

Notes Very convenient to aft elevators. The cabin was spacious. We used the pulldown bed for DS (18) and couch for DS (23). We loved the verandah.

Notes We were a family of four. We used the regular bed, the couch bed and the bed that blocks the verandah. There is also a bunk bed over the couch bed that we didn't use (kids too young). We felt there was plenty of room in the stateroom. We could hear the noise of deck chairs being moved around on the deck above, but it didn't bother us - even when napping. This room location was SO convenient for drinks and snacks on Deck 9. The room is just a few doors down the hall from the aft stairs and it was a quick run up for drinks at the soda machine or snacks at Pluto's or Scoops. It's also right below Topsider's. No problems for us whatsoever.
