Disneyland Reveals New Look Coming to Rivers of America

The DisneyParks Blog has released an artist’s rendering of what the recently closed Rivers of America might look like when it reopens in 2017.

The Blog highlights the elevated wooden trestle that the Disneyland Railroad will be traveling on as it crosses the north end of Tom Sawyer Island.

The sketch also includes the Mark Twain, a raft to Tom Sawyer Island, the Indian village, and what could be the settler’s cabin sitting on the island.

The Rivers of America are closed temporarily as construction begins on a new Star Wars-themed land.
