This past Sunday night, Disney/Pixar’s Inside Out won Best Animated Film at the Golden Globes. Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling, and Lewis Black star in the film as the emotions Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger in the mind of 11-year old Riley.
Inside Out continues the tradition of Disney/Pixar’s supremacy at the Golden Globes, having won Best Animated Film seven of the last ten years. This year, though, Inside Out beat another Disney/Pixar film, The Good Dinosaur, as well as non-Disney films Anomalisa, Shaun the Sheep Movie and The Peanuts Movie. The battle isn’t over just yet for Inside Out as The Oscar’s take place next month February 28th, 2016.
