CDC Eases Face Mask-Wearing Guidelines; No Changes for Disney Yet

Thursday afternoon, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provided a public health update for those who have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky announced that anyone who is fully vaccinated can now participate in indoor and outdoor activities – large or small – without wearing a face mask or physical distancing.

You will still be required to wear a mask on planes, buses, trains, and other forms of public transportation traveling into, within, or out of the United States, and in U.S. transportation hubs such as airports and stations.

She continued to state that unvaccinated people remain at risk for getting and/or transmitting the COVID-19 virus and they should still wear face masks and practice physical distancing in addition to getting vaccinated as soon as possible.

You can head to the CDC’s website to read the full statement.

At the time of this post, Walt Disney World has not changed any of its guidelines. Keep an eye out here as we will provide updates as they come in.
