Shades of Green, the Military Resort at Walt Disney World, has announced that the walkway between their hotel and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will close permanently on May 1, 2023.
The World Drive Expansion Project is set to begin on that date between Shades of Green and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the walking path will no longer be accessible.

Shades of Green has stated that additional buses will be added to the Transportation and Ticket Center route to make it easier for hotel guests to get to their destinations easily.
