All Announcements Made at Destination D23 Disney Parks Presentation!

Wow, Josh D’Amaro’s presentation Saturday morning during the Destination D23 event was full of exciting announcements for Disney theme parks around the world and for Disney Cruise Line. We’ve got each announcement listed below and we’ll be linking to the stories as we write them.

1) Ahsoka will become part of the Star Tours attraction globally next spring!

2) Asha from Disney’s upcoming ‘WISH’ film coming to EPCOT, Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris!

3) Daniel Joseph announced that Hatbox Ghost will be joining Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in late November 2023 for the first time!

4) New act and new songs coming to Country Bear Jamboree!! A new poster was revealed during the presentation!

5) Ride Vehicle Details Shared for Third Attraction Coming to Avengers Campus at Disneyland

6) New watering hole coming to Adventureland near Pirates of the Caribbean!

7) World Celebration will open in EPCOT in December!

8) Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana opens Oct. 16 and Moana herself will begin greeting guests in her own new, dedicated space on that date too!

9) Luminous – The Symphony of Us – will debut at EPCOT on December 5, 2023!!!

10) Disney is working with Chevrolet to completely reimagine Test Track; the reimagining will be inspired by the original World of Motion!!

11) Thomas Mazloum with Disney Signature Experiences DCL’s new island in The Bahamas will begin welcoming guests on June 16, 2024! Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point will be the island’s name!

12) New ship coming to Singapore will be named the Disney Adventure and will be “the biggest adventure yet!”

13) Bruce Vaughn talks about an expansion “behind Thunder Mountain” in the Magic Kingdom – says it’s “the biggest thing they’ve done in Magic Kingdom.”

14) A new show inspired by ‘Zootopia’ is being created for the Tree of Life theater!

15) New artwork was shared for a reimagined DinoLand with mentions of bringing ‘Encanto’ and ‘Indiana Jones’ to life in Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park.

16) Figment will begin meeting and greeting in the Imagination pavilion at EPCOT on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023!!

17) 2024 D23 Expo kicks off on August 9, 2024, and will take place at different locations around Anaheim including Disneyland Resort!
