There have been rumors and loads of speculation circling for years on what the future of Country Bear Jamboree in Frontierland might look like. Today during Disney Chairman Josh D’Amaro’s presentation at Destination D23, we have learned the official scoop!
Country Bear Jamboree as we know it will close its doors for renovation (no date was given at this time), and will reopen in 2024 as Country Bear Musical Jamboree. Disney says they’ll be keeping the bears but “putting some love into the attraction and characters” with new songs and acts. The fun and friendly tone of the show will remain!
We’re excited to hear that the bears are staying and look forward to hearing more about what the renovation will entail.
