Walt Disney Imagineering has shared a closer look at the Mama Odie audio-animatronic figure that guests will get to see inside the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction when it opens this summer in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and at Disneyland Park. Even more special, actor and singer Jenifer Lewis was able to have a behind-the-scenes look at Mama Odie along with the team that’s bringing her to life!
It is so cool to see these backstage encounters as the attraction gets closer and closer to its debut. The excitement Jenifer feels as she hugs each Imagineer can almost be felt through the screen! Jenifer is one of many talents from the film who is reprising her role for the attraction, inspired by the animated classic, The Princess and the Frog. Watch the interaction in the Reel below.
