1900 Park Fare, located in the lobby of The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, has been closed since 2020 but recently reopened with new décor, new characters, and a new menu! The DIS Unlimited Team had the opportunity to try both breakfast and dinner on opening day!
Dinner is served daily from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and costs $66 for adults and $41 for children (ages 3 -9). The buffet menu includes peel-n-eat shrimp, Tiana’s gumbo, baked salmon with saffron-lemon butter, prime rib, curry-roasted chicken, roasted garlic sausage, Impossible merguez sausage with zucchini noodles, Grand Floridian strawberry soup, Mediterranean kale salad, couscous salad, focaccia, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, green beans, and assorted classics for children.
The décor calls on colors from the Grand Floridian lobby and features beautiful artwork from Disney animated films like Princess and the Frog.

Craig and Ryno tried two signature cocktails unique to 1900 Park Fare!
Ryno chose the Strawberry Rose Spritz for $16. Made with Le Fete du Rose, Rockey’s Botanical Liqeur, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and strawberry, this was a refreshing cocktail. Craig chose the Passion Fruit Daiquiri also for $16. This is a take on the classic daiquiri made with Diplomatico Planas Extra Anejo Blanco Rum, Aperol Liqueur, passion fruit, vanilla, and lime. Both Craig and Ryno felt this was the winner of the two and was a well-balanced drink!
And for the moment you’ve all been waiting for… the characters! There are new Disney friends joining 1900 Park Fare, including Tiana in her adventurer attire, soon to be featured in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Mirabel from Encanto, Cinderella, and Aladdin in his Prince Ali outfit. We should note that these characters were present during the team’s experience, but recently, Snow White appeared in Cinderella’s place. Characters are always subject to change.
The new theme of 1900 Park Fare is the power of wishes, and the back of the autograph card has a space for you to write down your very own wish and keep it close to your heart!
Time for dinner ratings! Ryno gave the ambiance a 7, food presentation/ preparation an 8, quality of taste an 8, service a 10, cost an 8, and character interaction a 10 for a total of 4.25 out of 5.
Craig gave the ambiance an 8, food presentation/ preparation an 8, quality of taste a 9, service a 10, cost an 8, and character interaction a 9 for a total of 4.3 out of 5.
Both Craig and Ryno felt the artwork and the updated restaurant were nice additions and the pricing was comparable to other character meals at Walt Disney World. The buffet offered great variety and memorable dishes. The character interactions and service were superior during dinner service but this was likely attributed to opening day kinks.
