1900 Park Fare, located in the lobby of the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, has been closed since 2020 but recently re-opened with new décor, new characters, and a new menu! The DIS Unlimited Team had the opportunity to try both breakfast and dinner on opening day!
Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM until noon each day and costs $54 for adults and $34 for children (ages 3 -9), plus tax. The buffet menu includes bread pudding with vanilla crème anglaise, doughnut holes, Grand Floridian strawberry soup, double-chocolate muffin, guava and cheese cream danish, cinnamon pull-apart bread, beef and potato hash, eggs benedict, made-to-order omelets, scrambled eggs with and without cheese, bacon, pork sausage, chicken sausage, biscuits and gravy, Mickey-shaped waffles, carved ham, croissant breakfast pizza, smoked salmon, cheesy potato casserole, spiced tofu scramble, assortment of cereals, and assorted classics for children.

The renovation features beautiful artwork from Disney animated films like Cinderella, modern light fixtures, and warm textiles. But don’t worry, classics from the restaurant’s past like the “Big Bertha” antique band organ remain a staple.
Highlights from the breakfast buffet included the cinnamon pull-apart bread, bread pudding, eggs benedict, breakfast pizza, and carved ham. Some of the other delicious items are pictured below!

And for the moment you’ve all been waiting for… the characters! There are new Disney friends joining 1900 Park Fare, including Tiana in her adventurer attire soon to be featured in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Mirabel from Encanto, Cinderella, and Aladdin in his Prince Ali outfit.
The new theme of 1900 Park Fare is the power of wishes and the back of the autograph card has a space for you to write down your very own wish and keep it close to your heart!
Time for breakfast scores! Ryno rated the ambiance 7, presentation/ preparation an 8, quality of taste an 8, service a 7, cost a 7, and character interaction a 6 for a total of 3.6 out of 5.
Craig rated the ambiance an 8, presentation/ preparation a 6, quality of taste an 8, service a 5, cost a 7, and character interaction an 8 for a total of 3.5 out of 5.
Both Craig and Ryno felt the artwork and the updated restaurant were nice additions, and the pricing was comparable to other character meals at Walt Disney World. The buffet offered a great variety and memorable dishes. The character interactions and service were subpar compared to the dinner service, but this was likely attributed to opening day kinks.
