Confirmed: “The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic” show closing September 5

Update: This has now been confirmed by Disney.  There is still no news about when Rivers of Light will debut.

Based on FastPass+ availability on My Disney Experience, it appears that The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic show at Disney’s Animal Kingdom may not be shown after September 5. There are no FastPasses available after that date. The show was seemingly thrown together hastily when it became clear that Rivers of Light would not be ready to open in April as planned and the show has not received very positive reviews.

Does the show’s exit mean that Rivers of Light may finally be ready to open?

Leah grew up in a little farming town in Illinois, right on the Mississippi River. Her Chicago-born husband, David, left the city for her, and they're now raising their three children (Jacob, Jonah and Lydia) just 12 miles from her hometown. As the Senior Editor of the DIS (wdwinfo.com), Leah spends a lot of time writing about, reading about, and discussing Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that one of her family's favorite ways to spend time is going to Walt Disney World and traveling on Disney Cruise Line. She also enjoys shopping, watching movies with her husband and doing crafts with and for her kids.
