‘The GRAMMYs’ Have a New Home With Disney

Disney Entertainment Co-Chairman Dana Walden and Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. announced a groundbreaking 10-year global agreement today. Starting in 2027 and through 2036, The GRAMMYs will be exclusively simulcast on ABC, Hulu, and Disney+, marking The Walt Disney Company as the first new home for Music’s Biggest Night in 50 years.

Under this agreement, The Recording Academy will also create multiple GRAMMY-branded music specials and additional new programming for global audiences across Disney’s platforms.

The GRAMMYs is a standout addition to The Walt Disney Company’s lineup of premier live event programming in both entertainment and sports, joining prestigious events like The Oscars®, The CMA Awards, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, and the industry-leading ESPN sports brand. In 2027, the first year of this agreement, ABC will air The GRAMMYs, The Oscars, and Super Bowl LXI.
