Expansion coming to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort?

Permits have been filed with Reedy Creek Improvement District that suggest Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort may be undergoing an expansion. The Orlando Sentinel reports that the application lists a “new stormwater management pond and expansion of another pond to accommodate future impervious area within Coronado Springs.”

The official Disney site states that a refurbishment is currently taking place.
