Keep the Magic Alive at Home with Disney Parks Background Music

If you’re reading this, chances are you’re a Disney theme park enthusiast. An enthusiast who, like me, probably dreams about meandering through their favorite land or Disney resort after the sun has set, the crowds have dissipated, and the background area music really shines.

Listening to Disney music is one of the easiest ways to bring the magic of one of our favorite places to our home (or workplace!). The carefully-curated background music loops which play throughout the lands of Walt Disney World are ambient, nostalgic time machines.

Let them play softly in the background, and suddenly you’re back on Main Street, or strolling through the World Showcase. It’s a warm, cozy way to relive vacation memories… and maybe even start daydreaming about your next trip.

Please consider three MORE of my favorite Disney BGM loops for your home listening! You may have to click through and watch these on YouTube if you see an error message in the preview. Happy listening!

Fort Wilderness Pioneer Hall Background Music

Imagine puttering around Fort Wilderness on your golf cart, stopping into the General Store for a souvenir or snack, cooling off at the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool, or catching a movie under the stars after roasting some s’mores at Chip & Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long… Maybe you end the night watching the twinkling lights of the Electrical Water Pageant drift by from Clementine’s Beach… However you spend your time at FW, you’ll love switching on this background loop to bring a little bit of the wilderness home. Yeehaw, do I miss camping at the Fort.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Area Loop

Rock and roll has been on the mind a lot lately with the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne, saying goodbye for one last time at the recent Back to the Beginning concert. Filled with some of the biggest acts to ever grace the hard rock and metal scene, it was truly a show for the ages. One of the most notable sets involved another rock and roll legend: Steven Tyler. Seeing the 77-year-old get up and belt out Aerosmith classics like “Train Kept a-Rollin” and “Walk this Way” was a real treat, and immediately made us want to go over to Hollywood Studios and ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster as many times as possible before the Muppet update debuts sometime next year. There was no better way to pay homage to the gods of rock at Walt Disney World. As of recently, less of this older loop’s songs are featured in the area and queue nowadays, with more artists being added to the rotation over the years. But, now you can listen to the original Aerosmith loop here!

I just have one question… How about some backstage passes?

Pirates of the Caribbean Queue Music

It’s amazing how certain background music can flood your mind with memories. As soon as you press play, you’re probably reminded of Pirates’ distinct water scent which hits you as soon as you step through the fort’s entrance, or you might hear the chain stanchions clanking, or hear someone in your traveling party talking about their favorite scene from the ride. Something about this loop also reminds me of those empty Extra Magic Hours Magic Kingdom nights, once upon a time. What do you first think of?

I’d love to hear some of your favorite background music loops from Disney’s parks. Please share in the comments below!
