Jock Lindsey’s at Disney Springs has transformed into the Halloween Hangar Bar, complete with 1940s-inspired Halloween decorations and a completely new seasonal menu. Guests can enjoy the Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Hangar Bar experience now through November 4th, but keep in mind it’s a walk-up only bar with no reservations. You’ll want to be prepared to wait for a table or get there when it opens at 11:30 am, as it’s already a very popular dining experience!
Halloween Décor
We’ve seen Jock Lindsey’s decorate for the holidays before when it hosts its Holiday Hangar Bar experience in November and December, but this is the first time we’ve seen Halloween decorations, and it has more than exceeded our expectations.

Both the inside and outside of the bar are decorated with tinsel garland in Halloween colors, carved pumpkins, vintage-style paper decorations, Halloween blow-molds, and special lighting. We even noticed a special soundtrack with spooky songs from the 1930s, like “Jeepers Creepers.”

The Menu
In addition to Jock Lindsey’s year-round menu, guests can now enjoy a special seasonal menu, complete with four new libations and five new food items… and we tried them ALL!

Seasonal Appetizers

Alien Invader Sliders – crispy Nashville hot fried chicken, sliced provolone, dill pickle slices, cheddar-chive biscuit, and queen olives – $16
This was by far our favorite food item we’ve ever had at Jock Lindsey’s! The cheddar biscuit bun was fluffy, the chicken was both tender and fried crisp, and the flavors from the spice, provolone, and pickle worked perfectly. This is your do not miss menu item during the Halloween season at Walt Disney World!

Skull of the Dead – mojo pork, cheddar, flour tortilla, and a pickle pico de gallo – $16
The Skull of the Dead really surprised us by being the perfect carnitas quesadillas. The pork was plentiful with great smoky flavor, and the accompanying pico de gallo gave it a nice acidity. The pomegranate mustard sauce didn’t quite work with the quesadillas, but hey, it was a fun presentation.

Phantom Dumplings – chicken and pork dumplings wrapped in rice paper and served with teriyaki dipping sauce – $14
The presentation of the Phantom Dumplings is frightfully fun – served under a glass dome pouring out smoke and the dumplings look like five little ghosts having a séance. The dumplings were hearty and flavorful, which paired nicely with the sweet and spicy sauce. The texture of the sticky rice paper wasn’t great on its own, so we recommend only eating the bit around the dumpling itself.

Cursed Mummy Sausages – mini smoked sausages wrapped in puff pastry and served with pomegranate mustard sauce – $14
We were delighted by the presentation of the Cursed Mummy Sausages, which came in their own coffin that screams when opened. Look at the cute faces on the sausages! This is the one place the pomegranate mustard actually belongs and was the perfect pairing with the sausages. The sausages did seem a little overcooked and the puff pastry was definitely on the chewy side. These had so much potential – we’re hoping we just had a bad batch.

Zombie Eye Bites – traditional deviled egg filling, crispy fried chicken, and black olives – $17
In our last Jock Lindsey’s review, we LOVED the deviled eggs, which made us very excited to try this seasonal version. Unfortunately, this was our least favorite item on the Halloween Hangar Bar menu. The deviled eggs are flipped over for presentation with the filling and chicken nugget on the bottom. The pomegranate mustard with the black olive and the boiled egg was a pretty salty and sour combination. In contrast, the deviled egg filling could have used some seasoning and spice. And unlike the Alien Invader Sliders, the chicken was not fried well and was both cold and chewy.
Seasonal Libations

Cauldron Cooler – Hendrick’s Gin, Domaine de Canton, ginger liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and butterfly pea extract – $17.50
Yet another fun presentation at Jock Lindsey’s that makes everything feel just a little bit more special. The floral notes from the gin were complemented so well with the tart lemon juice, and a little bit of spice from the ginger. This is a must-have Halloween drink if you enjoy gin cocktails!

The Spike Trap – Malibu Coconut Rum, Stoli Vanilla Vodka, cream of coconut, and Sprite, garnished with a ghost marshmallow – $16.50
Undoubtedly, the winner of Most Beautiful and Miss Congeniality in this Halloween pageant of drinks, The Spike Trap, will make you smile and feel just that more festive. This fun cocktail tastes like a light, coconut soda with a marshmallow ghost treat.

Scarab Beetle Essence – Siesta Key Silver Rum, Malibu Coconut Rum, Bole Blue Curacao Liqueur, DOLE Pineapple Juice, and grenadine – $16.50
Unfortunately, the Scarab Beetle Essence makes our do not order list. It’s important to mix this layered cocktail or you’ll immediately get smacked in the face with rum. Unfortunately, once mixed, it tastes like a watered-down Kool-Aid cocktail, probably hand-crafted in a college fraternity house. Even the acidity from the pineapple was lost in the other sweet ingredients. The Scarab Beetle Essence is all trick and no treat.

Snake Egg Surprise – Simply Lemonade, lime juice, desert pear syrup, and green apple boba balls – $6.75
The Snake Egg Surprise was indeed a fun surprise. The purple of the drink with the green boba balls screams Halloween, and it was more tart than we expected, balancing out the sweetness. We could even taste the desert pear, giving it a more complex flavor. This is a great non-alcoholic option for everyone in your group.
Jock Lindsey’s Halloween Hangar Bar is a delight and while we think the atmosphere is worth the visit alone, there were some shining star menu items too! Be sure to watch our full review to get an idea of what you can expect from Jock Lindsey’s during your Halloween visit to Walt Disney World!
