Whether you are officially Disney Bounding or just taking some light inspiration from your favorite characters to plan your outfits (also Disney Bounding), it can be hard to decide which characters are best suited to each park. We are here to help, walking you through the basics of who you can find for a matchy-matchy photo in each park, and whose theme best suits each destination. Today, the adventure begins at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World as we explore the characters that inspire your best outfits for this park.
Mickey, Minnie & Friends
Magic Kingdom is where you can let your love of the classics run free. Main Street, U.S.A. is a great place to showcase your Fab Five style, sporting those looks inspired by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, and even Daisy Duck as a sixth bonus round. The best thing about these characters is that you can use plain, block colors that are already in your wardrobe to create reasonably simple looks. Think a pair of white shorts, navy blue shorts, and a sleeved top, finished with a red bow belt. Swap the top for purple and add a pink bow belt for a nod to Daisy as well.
Disney Princesses
Building an outfit inspired by your favorite Disney Princess is one of the most magical ways to spend a day at Magic Kingdom, letting you bring a little fairytale sparkle into your park look without going full costume. Whether it’s a Belle-inspired gold sundress with a rose accessory, a bold splash of Ariel’s seafoam green and purple, or Cinderella’s dreamy blue tones paired with some glittering shoes, Disney Bounding makes it easy to feel like royalty while staying comfortable for rides, parades, and castle photos. It’s playful, stylish, and the perfect way to make those Magic Kingdom moments feel even more enchanting. Pay a visit to Fairytale Princess Hall to snap a photo with your inspiration!
Adventure Characters
If you’re looking to add a little edge to your Magic Kingdom style, why not build an outfit inspired by the park’s more adventurous characters and attractions? Channel your inner Jack Sparrow with layered neutrals, striped details, and a touch of pirate-worthy jewelry, or go tropical with khaki tones, a cheeky skipper hat, and maybe even a pun or two to nod to The Jungle Cruise. For a splash of magic, an Aladdin-inspired look with rich jewel tones and flowy fabrics feels both adventurous and regal, while bold florals and playful accessories can pay tribute to the feathered fun of The Enchanted Tiki Room. These looks are a fun challenge that turns your day into a stylish adventure all on their own.
I’ve already planned all of my outfits for our upcoming trip and can’t wait to see some of yours as we make our way around all the parks!
