The Muppets have returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the 2025 run of Disney Jollywood Nights, appearing in the Holidays in Hollywood stage show on select nights through December 22. The show is performed several times each event night at the Theater of the Stars, the same venue that hosts Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage during regular park hours.

What to Expect
Holidays in Hollywood runs about 25 minutes and follows the style of a classic variety special. Disney describes it as:
A high-spirited stage show with music, dancing and beloved Characters—including some merry Muppets.
Hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, Disney Holidays in Hollywood is a star-studded holiday extravaganza! Get ready for a toe-tappin’ good time with appearances from Characters such as Tiana, Belle, Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse—accompanied by a talented cast of singers, dancers and jazz musicians.
The opening sequence features a tight, upbeat string of holiday songs that sets the pace for the rest of the show. Performances from both the vocalists and dancers are strong, and are an absolute joy to take in.
Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy host the show alongside two [human] performers, keeping things moving between musical segments. They appear in several numbers, including “Toyland” and a finale medley of “Jingle Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”

The supporting cast is sizeable, including live singers, dancers, and the house band known as The Jolly 8. Character appearances include:
- Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, who perform “Deck the Halls”
- Belle, singing “As Long As There’s Christmas”
- Tiana, performing an original jazzy holiday number created for this show

Should You See It?
Uh… YES. First and foremost, if you’re a Muppets fan, this is the only place at Walt Disney World where you can currently see them live, and that alone makes it worth fitting into your night. Regardless, it’s one of the more fully produced offerings at Jollywood Nights and an easy recommendation. For me, a huge fan of both the Muppets and Disney’s live productions, this show is my ultimate “don’t miss this” at Jollywood Nights. It captures old Hollywood Studios production-style, wonderfully festive live singing performances, and of course, Kermit and Miss Piggy.

I can’t stop watching their in-between dialogue faces whenever they’re on stage — comedy gold.

Are you traveling to Walt Disney World this holiday season? While Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is sold out for this year, Disney Jollywood Nights still has select dates available!
