UPDATE: It appears Disney’s early release of the show was not intended, as the video was taken down shortly after it went live. Unfortunately, if you didn’t catch it, you’ll have to wait just a few more days.
In a welcome early gift, Disney has made the entire The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular available on YouTube ahead of its December 1st premiere on ABC, letting us fans jump into the holiday magic a little sooner.
The 2025 edition marks the 10th anniversary of the beloved special, featuring new star-studded performances recorded live across Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai’i. You can expect festive music, magical surprises, and a cheerful dose of holiday spirit; an early gift to fans everywhere, perfect for cozying up and getting into the season before December even arrives!

The special’s opening really gets you in the holiday spirit! Ginnifer Goodwin acts as the narrator, introducing with a special storybook to “share the timeless tale of how Disney brings us together, and spreads that joy to all the parks and right into our homes”, titled The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular.
It all starts with Mickey Mouse lighting up Main Street U.S.A., before being soon joined by his pals, including Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald and Daisy, who are helping transform the park with lights and sparkling holiday decor. Derek Hough performs the opening number accompanied by a festive dancing ensemble and Disney’s classic toy soldiers (as seen in Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade). The performance starts at Main Street Train Station before finishing at Cinderella Castle – complete with a fireworks finale.
Before you know it, we’re transported across the country for Gwen Stefani‘s holiday performance in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at the happiest place on earth. It’s just getting started… keep watching for more!
This year’s celebrity lineup also includes Bebe Rexha, Nicole Scherzinger, Good Charlotte, Ke Huy Quan, Aloe Blacc, Trisha Yearwood, Iam Tongi, Coco Jones, and Mariah the Scientist, along with plenty of cameo appearances!
