Disneyland Resort is expanding its Magic Key program with a new option for guests. The Explore Key will go on sale on January 13, 2026. Sales for the Imagine Key will open the same day, no earlier than 9 a.m. PT. These two passes join the Inspire and Believe Keys, which remain available for new purchases.
With the arrival of the Explore Key, Disneyland is retiring the Enchant Key. It will no longer be offered for sale or renewal. Current Enchant Key holders may continue to use their pass through its expiration date.
The Explore Key is positioned as a flexible option for guests who want year-round access to the theme parks. It offers benefits similar to the Enchant Key but adds weekday availability in June and July, giving families more opportunities to enjoy the parks during summer break. Disneyland notes that a Magic Key pass can deliver its value in as few as four visits. Benefits include Park Hopper access, discounts on parking, merchandise, dining, and Lightning Lane Multi Pass, along with other Magic Key–exclusive perks during the year.
The timing of this new pass aligns with the release of Disneyland Resort’s 2026 event calendar. Magic Key holders will be able to plan visits around limited-time celebrations and upcoming debuts. Next year brings experiences such as Disney’s Lunar New Year festival, the arrival of Bluey and Bingo at Fantasyland Theatre, and a new mission on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run inspired by The Mandalorian and Grogu.
Additionally, Disneyland announced the return dates for the following entertainment offerings:
- Jan. 8
- “Wondrous Journeys”
- Mickey and friends wearing Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration outfits
- Jan. 9
- “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade”
- Jan. 30
- “Paint the Night” parade
California residents will continue to have access to monthly payments. The Explore Key can be financed over 12 months at 0% APR with a new lower down payment of $99, offering another option for families who prefer predictable budgeting.
The addition of the Explore Key reshapes the Magic Key lineup heading into 2026, giving guests more summer flexibility while phasing out the Enchant Key. Disneyland expects strong interest when sales begin in January.
