If you’re planning to celebrate May the 4th inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge this year, Disney just gave you one more reason to be there… or at least refresh DisneyStore.com right at launch time.
Another new wave of Star Wars merchandise is arriving May 4, 2026, and the standout pieces are these limited-edition collectible sets that feel a little more special than your typical park pickup. Each set includes a full-size comic book, a sculpted coin, and an action figure, all packaged together as one bundle. Disney is keeping these fairly exclusive, too, with each design limited to 5,500 units.

The characters featured are from the Galaxy’s Edge experience, which is a nice touch for fans. We’re talking Chewbacca, DJ R-3X, Dok-Ondar, and a few others that fans of Batuu should recognize right away.
These will be available in select locations inside Disney Parks and online at DisneyStore.com starting May 4 at 8AM PT. If you’ve followed these kinds of releases before, you already know the drill. Limited numbers plus a popular theme usually means they won’t sit on shelves long.
There’s also something a little more casual if collectibles aren’t your thing. Disney is adding Star Wars options to the “Create Your Own” headband lineup, and I think we’ll see these everywhere.

Plush pieces with character choices like Darth Vader and R2-D2 are sold separately, so you can mix and match depending on your favorites.
Some styles, like The Mandalorian and Grogu, are already available in the parks, while others will show up online as part of the May 4 drop.
Between the limited sets and the wearable pieces, this release hits both ends of the spectrum. You’ve got the display-worthy collectibles and the “I’m wearing this around the park all day” options.
Either way, if May the 4th merch is your thing, keep an eye on this drop.
