Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is hitting a big milestone, and Disney is marking the occasion with new food, drinks, and a collectible that’s already going to be on a lot of must-buy lists.
The popular tiki bar at Disneyland Hotel is celebrating its 15th anniversary starting May 25 with a lineup of limited-time offerings, including a brand-new Hyena Mug. If you’ve followed Trader Sam’s releases over the years, you already know that these specialty mugs don’t last long, especially when they tie into an anniversary.
Alongside the new collectible, there’s a batch of new menu items rolling out.
On the food side, guests can try a BBQ Chicken Flatbread topped with teriyaki chicken, pineapple, and a mix of herbs and chilies, with the option to add Kālua pork. There’s also a Chicken Katsu Curry served with jasmine rice, a soy-marinated egg, and pickled ginger, plus Furikake Fries finished with gochujang aioli and green onions.
It’s a solid mix of shareable bites and more filling options, which fits how most people approach a visit to Trader Sam’s.
The drink menu is getting an update too, with several new cocktails joining the lineup. Options include the bright blue Ka-Blue-ie!, made with rum and pineapple, the Lost Safari with spiced and dark rums, and Ginger’s Pear-adise, which mixes pear vodka with ginger liqueur and lime. Other additions like the Old Kungaloosh and Rosita’s Margarita round things out with more tropical and citrus-forward flavors.
Trader Sam’s has always been one of those places where the atmosphere is just as important as what’s on the menu. The interactive elements, the small space, and the over-the-top drink presentations are a big part of why people keep coming back.
This anniversary offering gives guests a few more reasons to grab a seat if they can get one.
