Hey there, Pride-supporting friends! June has officially arrived, which means it’s time to celebrate love, acceptance, and the incredible diversity that makes our Disney community so special. While I’m still patiently waiting for Disney’s annual Pride merch collection to make its grand appearance (and yes, I do have some thoughts about how much smaller it seems to get every year, but we’ll save that conversation for another day!), there are already some colorful ways to celebrate around Walt Disney World.
If you’re planning a visit to Disney Springs this month, you’ll find a few special limited-time beverages that are doing more than just looking fabulous. Throughout June, several Disney Springs dining locations are raising a glass to Pride Month with specialty cocktails that celebrate the LGBTQ+ community while supporting an important cause.
The Edison, Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante, and Enzo’s Hideaway have partnered with Dos Hombres Tequila to create Pride Month offerings that give back with every purchase. Throughout the month, a portion of proceeds from these featured cocktails will be donated to The Trevor Project, an organization that provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ+ young people across the United States. It’s a meaningful way to celebrate Pride while helping support a resource that makes a real difference in the lives of so many young people.
- Cranstonian – A bold red cocktail crafted with Dos Hombres Mezcal, cranberry juice, fresh lime and Aperol, finished with a chili salt rim.
- Passionfruit Margarita – An inviting yellow blend of Dos Hombres Tequila, triple sec, Chinola passionfruit liqueur and fresh lime juice, served with a Tajín-dipped ice cube.
- Honeydew Smash – An iconic green cocktail featuring Midori Melon Liqueur, Dos Hombres Mezcal and Tequila, fresh lime juice, agave and honeydew chunks, rimmed with chili salt and garnished with fresh honeydew.
