New Moana-Inspired Summer Snacks for Walt Disney World

Hey there, Disney friends! I don’t know about you, but I am always looking for an excuse to make a themed treat. Halloween goodies, gingerbread houses at Christmas, birthday cakes, movie night snacks… if there’s a reason to get creative in the kitchen and enjoy something delicious afterwards, count me in! So, with Disney’s live-action Moana hitting cinemas this week, you can probably guess where my mind has been all week.

I know the live-action remakes can be a little divisive, but I’ve always loved seeing how Disney brings these animated worlds to life. It’s the incredible attention to detail that gets me every time. Watching familiar characters, costumes, and magical moments transformed into something that feels real still fills me with that same sense of wonder and adventure, no matter how many times Disney does it.

Naturally, I’ve been in a very Moana kind of mood lately, which made these two new Walt Disney World treats catch my eye almost immediately. They’re tucked away in two different parks, making them a bit of a treasure hunt for fans of the film. If you’re visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom or EPCOT soon, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for these tropical-inspired snacks on your next Disney foodie adventure.

Motunui Ube Sundae:

Ube soft-serve with tropical fruits, coconut, raspberry crumbs, and macadamia
(Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Anandapur Ice Cream Truck)

Heihei Delight:

A tropical blend of pineapple and coconut topped with a pineapple slice and SKITTLES POP’d Original Freeze Dried Candy
(EPCOT – The Land Cart)

The only problem with that Motunuai Ube Sundae is that it won’t be available for me to enjoy during the movie on Friday! Those flavors sound absolutely perfect together, and even though it is winter down here in Australia right now, I am going to be craving one of these until I get my hands on it!

Even if you aren’t a Moana fan, summer is the perfect time to try any new snack options that are cool and refreshing, so give your Disney day a boost with one of these new tropical options.
