The latest merchandise reveal for Mickey’s of Glendale shares The Muppets Studio Signature Collection, a playful assortment of apparel and accessories celebrating some of the most beloved characters in the gang. It’s the first time we’re getting a look at the collection, and from what Disney has shared so far, it looks like there’s something here for longtime fans and first-time collectors alike.
The lineup features character-inspired artwork starring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal, Fozzie Bear, The Great Gonzo, Scooter, and Swedish Chef, with each design capturing the personality that has made The Muppets favorites for generations.
Rather than a large group graphic, many of the pieces give individual characters their own moment to shine. How cute are these tees with character signatures?!
Guests can add their favorite character-themed pins and patches to make the customizable denim jacket their own. You can keep it simple with just Kermit or include the whole crew. This idea is fun and feels different from typical event merchandise.
Beyond the jacket, the collection includes T-shirts, a crew-neck sweatshirt, a baseball cap, tote bags, necklaces, keychains, and more. Disney has also added Micro Canvas Tote Bag Charms, with the character inside remaining a mystery until you open it. If you’re someone who can’t resist a surprise collectible, these little mystery charms could end up being one of the hottest items on the show floor.
I also like that Disney didn’t overcomplicate the designs. The character portraits and signature artwork have a clean, classic look that feels very Muppets. It’s the kind of collection that works just as well during a day in the parks as it does long after D23 is over.
