We’ve reached the final round of merchandise reveals for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, and Disney saved some pretty great stuff for the Imagineering fans.
New Walt Disney Imagineering Pavilion and Horizons collections will be available during D23 2026, with designs that pull heavily from Disney history while looking ahead to what Imagineers are working on next. And judging by the first photos Disney shared, these pieces will likely disappear quickly.
The Walt Disney Imagineering Pavilion Collection takes its inspiration from the 1964 New York World’s Fair, early Tomorrowland, and classic Disney attractions such as Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress. That retro influence comes through immediately in the artwork and graphics. The collection includes a T-shirt, hat, Mai Tai glass, magnet, and collectible pins.
I especially like the Imagineering Horizons shirt. The front keeps things simple with the logo, but turn it around and you’ll find artwork featuring several familiar Disney Parks icons surrounding the Imagineering Horizons pavilion logo. The coordinating cream and blue hat has the logo embroidered across the front and “Walt Disney Imagineering” across the back. This whole collection feels a little more like something an Imagineer might actually wear than your typical Disney event merchandise, which I think is part of the appeal.
There’s also a separate Horizons Collection making its debut at D23. It includes a T-shirt featuring Sorcerer Mickey, along with a mug and postcard set. The artwork ties directly into the Horizons Showcase taking place Saturday night, where Disney will share updates and new looks at projects currently in development around the world.
And then, of course, there are the pins. Disney says a new assortment of D23-exclusive pins will be released throughout the weekend at the Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store, so pin collectors may want to leave a little room in that merchandise budget.
Between the vintage World’s Fair inspiration, old-school Imagineering references, and artwork celebrating what’s coming next, this final merchandise reveal feels particularly well suited to D23. I might even have a hard time walking past that Imagineering shirt and hat without bringing both of them home.
