With a steady influx of tourism, it is no surprise that Florida hotels and resorts had a prominent showing in TripAdvisor’s 2017 Travelers’ Choice Awards. In case you are wondering how “The Parks” fared, the Orlando Sentinel released which Florida establishments made the list, and there is a Disney presence as well as Universal. Both made the cut in top family resorts; with Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa at #7, and Universal’s Hard Rock Hotel at #11. Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort came in at #19 in the Best Luxury Hotels category. Based on quality rating from reviews, as well as the number of reviews totaled, TripAdvisor’s lists consider hotels from 109 countries. With a total of 7,612 properties under consideration, a spot in the top 20 is a notable accomplishment.
