National Geographic Expeditions has revealed its lineup of Private Jet departures for early 2028, and there’s a brand-new itinerary joining the collection. The newest addition is Tasting the World by Private Jet, a 23-day journey built around exploring destinations through their food, culinary traditions, and culture. The inaugural departure is scheduled for April 18, 2028.
A New Way to Taste Your Way Around the World
Rather than just visiting some of the world’s great destinations, Tasting the World is designed to explore how food connects with a place’s history, geography, and identity. Guests will travel between global culinary centers aboard a private jet, with the itinerary centered around the meals, traditions, and cultures encountered along the way.
National Geographic Expeditions hasn’t released the complete destination-by-destination itinerary in the information announced so far, so we’ll be interested to see exactly where this new adventure takes guests. The April 18 departure joins several returning National Geographic Expeditions Private Jet experiences scheduled for early 2028. Around the World by Private Jet will depart January 4 and January 31, while Wildlife of the World by Private Jet departs March 10.

Along with revealing the new itinerary, National Geographic Expeditions has announced an early-booking offer covering select 2028 Private Jet departures. Guests can save $5,000 per person when booking an eligible trip by December 17, 2026.
Returning National Geographic Expeditions Private Jet travelers can save an additional $2,500, bringing their potential savings to $7,500 per person on qualifying departures.
