Zombie Captain America made a terrifying return to Disney California Adventure on September 27, 2026, during the special D23 Night at Oogie Boogie Bash.
The undead Avenger appeared at Avengers Campus, giving D23 members and their guests a rare Halloween encounter. However, fans had only one chance to see him because Disney featured Zombie Captain America for one night only.
A Spooky Marvel Return
Zombie Captain America comes from Marvel’s animated series What If…?, which explores alternate versions of familiar Marvel heroes.
His appearance at Oogie Boogie Bash added an extra dose of horror to the Halloween festivities.
Previously appeared during a D23 Oogie Boogie Bash event. Therefore, his 2026 return gave Marvel and Disney Halloween fans another memorable encounter.
Zombie Captain America Appeared for One Night
The September 27 celebration brought the usual Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween atmosphere, along with special entertainment and character encounters. However, Zombie Captain America appeared exclusively during D23 Night.
Oogie Boogie Bash continued on other select nights. However, guests attending those parties did not have the same opportunity to encounter the zombie Avenger.
For Marvel fans, Zombie Captain America’s one-night return made September 27 a memorable part of the 2026 Halloween season.
Hopefully, Disney brings Zombie Captain America back for another Oogie Boogie Bash in 2027 and gives even more fans a chance to see the spooky Avenger.
Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 Tickets Are Sold Out
Disneyland fans who hoped to attend Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 faced limited ticket availability. Disney’s official information now shows that tickets for the 2026 Halloween party have sold out.
