Want to appear in a Walt Disney World video and get paid for it? A new casting call is looking for families, content creators, and other talent to participate in an upcoming production featuring The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
According to Project Casting, selected participants will film on location at Walt Disney World in the Orlando area, with compensation listed at $800 or more. Content creators are specifically encouraged to apply, although the opportunity isn’t limited to people who already make videos for social media.
The casting call is connected to an upcoming Tower of Terror video shoot, which certainly has our attention. The post doesn’t reveal what Disney intends to use the finished footage for, so there’s no indication yet whether this will be part of an advertising campaign, social media content, or another project.
And before we send the Disney rumor mill into overdrive, there’s nothing in the casting information suggesting that changes are coming to Tower of Terror itself. Productions like this are regularly used to capture promotional footage featuring real guests and families experiencing Walt Disney World attractions.
Still, it’s a pretty unique opportunity for Disney fans who are comfortable in front of a camera. Project Casting says filming will take place at Walt Disney World, although the post does not specify the exact filming dates or how many participants will ultimately be selected.
Those interested can find the full casting call and application details through Project Casting’s official website. As with any casting opportunity, we’d recommend reading all eligibility requirements, filming commitments, compensation details, and usage terms before applying.
And really, getting paid to spend some time at the Hollywood Tower Hotel? There are certainly worse ways to drop into work for the day.
