If you’re planning a visit to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii early next year, there’s something you might want to know about before your vacation.
Disney has announced that a national television production will be filming at Aulani from January 23 through January 28, 2027, and a portion of Ko Olina Beach will be used during that time.
While Disney hasn’t shared what television show or production will be filming at the resort, guests visiting during those dates may see or hear some of the activity taking place.
The good news is that Aulani’s beach activities and amenities will remain available along the rest of the beach, so guests will still have opportunities to enjoy the beautiful Ko Olina coastline during their stay.
Disney also says that while some production noise is possible, guests should not hear filming-related noise between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Email notifications have already been sent to guests with reservations during the affected dates, along with travel agents who have clients scheduled to visit.
Aulani is located along the shores of Ko Olina on the island of Oahu, offering guests a Hawaiian vacation experience with Disney touches throughout the resort. With its beautiful beachfront setting, it’s easy to see why it would make an appealing location for a television production!
Of course, now we’re wondering what they’re filming! Disney hasn’t announced any additional details, so we’ll have to wait and see whether more information comes out as January approaches.
In the meantime, if you’re visiting Aulani between January 23 and 28, it’s worth keeping this temporary beach activity in mind as you plan your resort days.
