Shanghai Disney Resort is getting ready to welcome guests to its third Disney-themed hotel! The new Shanghai Disney Enchanted Star Hotel will officially open on December 16, 2026, with reservations beginning November 6.
The nine-story hotel will feature 400 guest rooms and sit along Wishing Star Lake, next to the existing Shanghai Disneyland Hotel. Guests will have views of Wishing Star Park and Shanghai Disneyland, depending on their room location.
Inspired by early 20th-century Shanghai architecture, the hotel features an Art Nouveau design that combines Chinese influences with Disney storytelling. The wishing star theme carries throughout the property, including the guest rooms, which feature Disney-inspired artwork and decorative details.
Reservations open at midnight on November 6, 2026, Shanghai local time, for several room categories:
- Enchanted Star Deluxe Room
- Enchanted Star Deluxe Room (Park View)
- Enchanted Star Dream Room
- Enchanted Star Club Room
Additional room categories will become available closer to opening day.
One of the new hotel’s most interesting features is its outdoor swimming pool, the first at a Shanghai Disney Resort hotel. The pool will operate seasonally, depending on weather conditions. Guests will also have access to indoor swimming facilities and themed play areas for children.
Another nice perk is that Shanghai Disney Enchanted Star Hotel and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel will be connected by a dedicated walkway. Guests staying at either property will be able to use shared recreational facilities, including swimming pools, fitness centers, play areas, restaurants, and shopping locations.
Speaking of dining, the new hotel will feature several options, including Enchanted Seasons Restaurant, which will serve Chinese and international dishes inspired by the changing seasons. Disney character experiences and other entertainment offerings are also planned.
The surrounding lakeside area will feature three newly unveiled crane sculptures that highlight the resort’s conservation efforts.
With Shanghai Disneyland continuing to grow, the new hotel gives guests another option for staying on Disney property, especially those planning to spend several days exploring the resort.
Reservations for Shanghai Disney Enchanted Star Hotel will be available through Shanghai Disney Resort’s official booking channels and authorized travel partners beginning November 6.
