Disneyland to Celebrate 50 Years of Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbean, the classic attraction that originated at Disneyland Park,will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this Saturday, March 18th. In honor of the achievement, there will be a weekend-long party throughout New Orleans Square.

Starting on Thursday, guests of the restaurants of New Orleans Square will be able to take advantage of special pirate-themed menu items.  French Market, the Mint Julep Bar, Harbour Galley, Royal Street Verandah, Cafe Orleans, and Blue Bayou will all be participating!



On Friday and Saturday, The Bootstrappers and Lucky the Pirate will be entertaining guests in New Orleans Square, plus there will be special limited-edition merchandise to celebrate the anniversary, including pirate speak collectible cards.

More information about the anniversary is still to come!

Pirates of the Caribbean is scheduled to reopen from refurbishment on March 16th, just in time for the celebration!
