Disneyland’s Autopia Gets a New Storyline

Disneyland Park‘s classic attraction, Autopia, has just received a few updates, including a new storyline featuring Honda’s ASIMO robot.

ASIMO (Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility) and his robotic friend, Bird, have embarked on the ultimate road trip and are featured in several new scenes in the attraction. Bird is a new character that was created just for the attraction.

Honda began its sponsorship of Autopia last spring when the attraction’s signage and vehicles got a makeover, including Honda colors and fuel-efficient engines for the cars.

ASIMO once appeared in his own show inside the former Innoventions building.
