On April 18, 2017 Telltale Games will be releasing the first episode in a series of five games titled Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series. The new series of games follows Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot on an entirely new adventure separate from the film.

The first episode of the series is titled Tangled Up in Blue, and judging by the trailer it looks like the arch-villain Thanos will be part of the game. In this series of games the Guardians of the Galaxy will be chasing down an artifact with immeasurable power.
The game will be available in stores and online for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, iOS and Android devices.
