Disneyland confirms upgrades to classic attractions

The Disneyland Resort has finally confirmed two rumored upgrades to classic Fantasyland attractions.

When the Matterhorn Bobsleds reopen on May 16th, guests will see new effects and according to the DisneyParks Blog, “the Abominable Snowman in ways you’ve never seen him before.”

The upgrades to Peter Pan’s Flight, which opens May 21st, include a new nursery scene and other new special effects.

Both attractions are being upgraded as part of the upcoming Diamond Celebration celebrating the 60th birthday of Disneyland. The Diamond Celebration begins May 22nd.
