The popular cake decorating experience where guests can create their own Mickey Dome Cake at Amorette’s Patisserie in the Town Center at Disney Springs has been extended through June of 2018!
Classes take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday mornings. The cost is $149 plus tax for one or two guests working on a single cake. Guests must be at least 10 years of age to participate.
The Classic Mickey Design is featured during Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday classes while the artist’s current Seasonal Mickey is featured during Monday and Wednesday classes – so be sure to check your days and dates carefully before reserving.
Complimentary specialty coffee, mimosas, and bellinis are available during the class as you and your decorating partner work side by side with the pros to decorate your own Mickey Dome Cake. Guests will learn how the beautiful dome cakes are designed, including hands-on working with the elegant glaçage (that’s French for “mirror glaze”) and painting the chocolate sculpted ears, tail, belt, and buttons which are created with white chocolate and cocoa butter.
