‘The Last Jedi’ Passes $600 Million Box Office Milestone

Although only the eighth highest-grossing film this weekend, Star Wars: The Last Jedi brought in enough money at the box office to push it past the $600 million mark for domestic sales. It currently stands at $604.3 million domestic, with international numbers reaching $692 million.

This weekend’s success makes The Last Jedi not only the sixth film to hit the $600 million milestone, but also the ninth highest-grossing film of all time. It remains the second most profitable Star Wars film behind The Force Awakens, which brought in a total of $936.7 million domestic and over $2 billion worldwide.
