It should come as no surprise that when Chairman of Disney Parks and Resorts Bob Chapek took the stage at Japan’s D23 Expo he had plenty of exciting announcements for Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea.
Here are some of the projects Tokyo Disney Resort is working on to continue bringing guests a unique experience:

- Tokyo Disneyland’s Tomorrowland will be home to the first-ever Big Hero 6 attraction, where guests will ride around with Baymax.
- A new Beauty and the Beast-inspired area will come to Fantasyland. It will feature an attraction set to the music of the film, as well as Tokyo Disneyland’s first full-scale live entertainment theater.
- Lastly for Tokyo Disneyland, Toontown will be host to a new design studio where guests can meet Minnie Mouse.
- Tokyo DisneySea isn’t being left out; the park is getting its own version of Soarin’.
