Play Disney Parks App Adds Interactive Elements at Disneyland Park

The Play Disney Parks mobile app which offers games, trivia, and digital achievements for theme park guests has added a new interactive way to play at Disneyland Park!

Guests using the Play Disney Parks app can now collect fortunes from Esmeralda the Fortune Teller at the Candy Palace on Main Street USA and Fortune Red outside Pieces of Eight in New Orleans Square without even putting in a quarter! Guests will also receive a piece of the fortune teller’s story. The free fortunes and stories are limited to one per day at each machine.

Return to the machine another day to receive the next part of the story. Currently, there are three 10-part stories to collect from each machine.

Just like the current 25-cent fortunes, the free fortunes are printed on a collectible card. The stories will also be digitally collected in the app to enjoy again and again.

The app will also award digital achievements for interacting with the fortune tellers, plus story-specific achievements for each full story completed.

The Play Disney Parks app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store and offers digital experiences throughout the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World.
