Tonight was the first night for Walt Disney World’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. This always signals to me that Fall has arrived in the theme park.
New this year is the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. I highly recommend skipping the 8:00 PM show and waiting for one of the later shows. It was very crowded.
This treat looked better than it tasted.
The new hub area has plenty of spaces to watch Celebrate the Magic and Happy Hallowishes.
The dance party in Tomorrowland was crowded while I was there.

The pumpkin globes indicate a candy location.
There were plenty of characters around the park. Be sure to check the park map for locations.
Looking down Main Street USA.
The Headless Horseman at the Start of Mickey’s “Boo- Too- You” Halloween Parade. I suggest standing in a well lit area to get this picture. He rides through quickly so you don’t have long to snap that picture.
Tonight’s event was sold out. If you can, go on an evening when it isn’t quite so crowded. The rides were pretty much a walk on but it was hard moving around the rest of the park.
Be sure to take a look at the park map when you enter so you can plan your evening. Your feet will thank you later in the evening after all the walking around the park. The best times to hit the candy locations is when the parade is going on since a lot of people will be watching the parade.
Happy Halloween everyone!
‘Til next time, See you in the parks!
