Atlanta Braves to move spring training away from Disney World?

The Atlanta Braves may soon be holding spring training in a new location. The Braves are currently signed on through 2017 to train at Walt Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, where they’ve been since 1997.

WESH 2 News says that documents have surfaced showing a proposal from a development group discussing a new $660 million complex with a 10,000-seat stadium in St. Petersburg. The documents state, “The pinnacle of the project will be the spring training home of the Atlanta Braves. لعبه القمار

A statement released from Disney said, “We enjoy hosting the Atlanta Braves and their fans for spring training at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and look forward to hosting them in upcoming Grapefruit League seasons.”

The Braves’ officials had no comment.
