Back in April, Walt Disney World announced a new progressive dining experience coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Now, with Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night set to begin in less that a month, we have more information about the Lion King themed event, which will include fun activities, live music, and food.
Guests will enjoy a welcome reception at the train station in Harambe, then receive their boarding pass and travel by train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
The reception menu includes meat pies, Durban chips and dips, and hand-selected meats and cheeses, plus Harambellini, a beverage featuring sparking South African wine and a mixture of fruit juices. Kids can snack on cheese, fruit, and Tofaa, which are chocolate caramel-dipped green apples.
Once at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, guests can try out the Kilimanjaro Safaris Virtual Reality experience, gives them a 360-degree look at the sights and sounds of the safari, include the African lions. Guests can also visit with Timon and Rafiki.
More refreshments are available at Rafiki’s Planet Watch, including spiced crisp plantains, South African oat and coconut bars, and Sundowner Safari Mix, with spiced nuts and dried fruit. Kids can enjoy seasonal fruit or Trail Mix Bites, with granola, chocolate chips, raisins, and honey.
Adults can also enjoy a specialty beverage of Chief’s Shandy, Tusker beer blended with lemonade, or Wanjohi’s Dawa, a blend of tequila, pineapple, mango, and ancho chile.
The night continues as guests reboard the train and head back to Harambe Market for dinner and more entertainment. Look for African musicians, dancing, and storytelling, plus a menu inspired by the five featured African animals.

At each station, guests will learn more about the “Big Five” animals, plus kids can create their own bracelet or necklace.
Tickets are already on sale for Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night, which will be held select nights starting July 24th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Adults are $125 plus tax and children (3-9) are $99. Theme park admission is required, but not included.
