The Walt Disney World Resort is host to the “Most Magical Race Weekend on Earth” and retro-inspired medals for the much-anticipated 2020 event have just been revealed.
The jam-packed weekend includes seven races and three challenges. Pluto will host the 5K and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit will be joining in for the 10K, Donald Duck hosts the Half Marathon, and for the first time ever, Minnie Mouse will join Mickey Mouse to co-host the Full Marathon. The runDisney Kids’ Races will be hosted by Goofy.
Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge, the Dopey Challenge, and the Castaway Cay Challenge are all returning as well and participants can collect some serious bling when they complete any of them. The Castaway Cay Challenge has got a new medal too; take a look at it HERE.
The 2020 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend takes place from January 8 – January 20, 2020 and tickets are on sale now.
