A Ghirardelli’s White Chocolate Mocha, actually. It’s a favorite and a family tradition that I get every time I visit. Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop is a quick service location in Disney Springs Marketplace at Walt Disney World. It offers a delicious assortment of sweet treats that’ll have your mouth watering.
Once you enter the shop, you are greeted with a free chocolate bar. That’s right, FREE! This alone puts a smile on my face. You’ll feel tempted to make several attempts to re-enter the store just so you can get that chocolate, but please refrain from doing so as I’m sure it’s frowned upon. It’s just that good!
There are several different chocolates to choose from that you can purchase to take home. They even have nicely wrapped gift packages that you can buy for yourself, family, and/or friends. There are so many choices!
Ghirardelli also provides a variety of gourmet hot chocolate, coffee, sundaes, shakes, floats and more. Each one looks so enticing, you’ll want to try them all. They have sugar-free options available for certain items as well, so feel free to ask. When purchasing, please inquire about any accepted dining plans or discounts, including military discounts, that might be available to you.
Ghirardelli’s White Chocolate Mocha (White Mocha on menu) is a Disney family tradition with my mom that was started years ago. It is our absolute favorite! Hot espresso coffee mixed with a rich white chocolate flavor topped off with whipped cream is a sweet caffeinated delight. It is perfect, especially on a cooler day in Florida during the winter months. In my personal opinion, I believe Ghirardelli’s White Chocolate Mocha is the best out of all of the coffee shops I’ve been to. It is something my mom and I look forward to that we bond over on every Disney trip.
Next time you’re at Disney Springs, stop in Ghirardelli, enjoy the free chocolate, and check out all the shop has to offer. Indulge in some of their chocolate for home, or something sweet for now.
