The core of Disney’s storytelling has always been rooted in animation. The magic that can come from a hand-drawn character is captivating, and while the art of movie-making may have evolved past relying on this awe-inspiring art form, we at the DIS still love a hand-drawn work of Disney art. Seeing these characters that we know and love begin to form on a page at the hands of a talented Disney artist is a pleasure to watch, and today, we are going to learn how to create a little bit of that magic ourselves. Thanks to the help of Don Shane, an Animation Academy Artist, we are about to try our hands at drawing Sorcerer Mickey Mouse from the movie Fantasia!
