In case you missed it, Disney Parks posted an official ambient music-from-the-parks video on YouTube, and we already NEED MORE! Playing in “starry phonic sound”, the video takes you on a tour through the Space Mountains found around the world at Disney’s theme parks. Starting with Magic Kingdom’s, which just turned 50 years old, followed by Disneyland’s, rounding out with Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain from both Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland. The video loops around a few times, totaling about an hour run time. You can listen and/or watch Disney’s video here!
Starting off with a countdown and blast off, each section is accompanied with moving artwork depicting the varying Tomorrowland (or Discoveryland) spires we know and love. The backgrounds are filled with twinkling stars, comets, and flying asteroids.
Lest we forget that shiny new Space Mountain landing over at Tokyo Disneyland’s Tomorrowland in 2027. I can’t wait to hear the score for that all-new story! Perhaps they’ll eventually add those fresh spires and music into the mix…
Anyways, back to the video: I, for one, would love to see (and hear) MORE of these official Disney Parks music and ambience clips! Have you listened yet? Or, if you’re as insane as I am, you might also like this [unofficial] 9-hour loop of Space Mountain’s star tunnel:
See you later, space invader!
