On its official 70th anniversary—July 17, 2025—Disneyland Resort will unveil new experiences at Disneyland Park, celebrating its rich history and bright future.
A special tribute to the legendary Sherman Brothers is coming to Main Street Cinema! Guests can watch The Last Verse, a three-and-a-half-minute film celebrating their iconic song, It’s a Small World—including highlighting a brand-new verse. Starting July 17th, this new verse will also be featured in the “it’s a small world” attraction at Disneyland Park.
The Main Street Opera House is getting a fresh new gallery curated by Walt Disney Imagineering, the Walt Disney Archives, and The Walt Disney Family Museum. This exhibit will showcase rare artifacts, images, and artwork—some never seen before—tracing Disneyland’s journey from its earliest days to the icon it is now. Plus, a special exhibit will take guests behind the scenes to explore the evolution of Audio-Animatronics technology over the years! “Among the treasures on loan in the gallery will be original items from Walt’s private apartment above the Fire Station on Main Street. These items include an original rocking chair, lamp and table, all of which have never been publicly exhibited at Disneyland park before.”
“Walt Disney – A Magical Life“ will debut alongside the new Main Street Opera House exhibits on July 17. The exit lobby will highlight Disneyland’s ongoing evolution, showcasing past innovations and a glimpse into the future. After its initial run, “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will play in rotation with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.”
