Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch is out, and we are planning to go and see this new remake on opening weekend. Though something as grand as this deserves more than just a movie ticket on a whim. We are setting the scene with the correct warm-weather treat and some perfectly themed tropical music to get the mood just right before we go. In this week’s Saturday Cooking Sesh, try out this throwback to a simplified pineapple treat inspired by Dole Whip and relax with some Disney ukulele music before you head off to see this exciting new take on a 2002 Disney classic.
Frozen Pineapple Treat Inspired by DOLE Whip® Walt Disney Parks and Resorts

- 1 cup dairy-free vanilla ice cream
- Place 1/2 cup pineapple juice, frozen pineapple, and dairy-free vanilla ice cream in blender and blend until smooth – do not over blend. If the mixture is too thick to blend, add 2 tablespoons of pineapple juice at a time.
- Scoop into bowls and serve immediately.
